Privacy and data
Privacy Policy
Last updated 17 June 2026
Soulna keeps only the information it needs to create a calm daily ritual, sync your progress, and manage your
account.
What we collect
- Account details such as your email address and a secure password record.
- Preferences like themes, reminder times, and the number of daily moments you choose.
- Saved reflections and app state so your experience can stay in sync across devices.
- Notification settings and a device push token so reminders can be delivered at the times you picked.
- A generated install identifier (not a device hardware identifier) used to group analytics events.
- Your device timezone, so reminders arrive at the right local time.
- The date and time you agreed to this Privacy Policy.
- Usage analytics, only if you choose to share them. These events may be associated with your account and install ID.
- If you join the launch waitlist, your email address, platform interest (iOS, Android, or either), consent time, and signup source.
Why we collect it
- Email and password let you sign in securely.
- Preferences help Soulna choose reflections that match your selected themes.
- Saved items and sync data keep your journey consistent across devices.
- Notification data helps the app send the number of reminders you requested, before 22:00 local time.
- The generated install identifier helps us understand device-level usage patterns without tracking your hardware.
- Usage analytics help us understand which screens need refinement without looking at your words or saved content.
- Waitlist details let us send launch and early-access updates for the platform you care about.
What we do not collect
- We do not use your data for advertising.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We never store your password in plain text.
Your choices and account deletion
- You can update your reminder and preference settings at any time.
- You can ask us to remove your waitlist email at any time by emailing info@soulna.app.
- You can turn notifications on or off in your device settings; Soulna stops sending when you opt out.
-
You can delete your account from Settings → Privacy and data → Delete account in the app. Deletion
is immediate and permanent: your account and all synced data (app state, saved reflections, analytics events, and
push tokens) are removed right away, and any active subscription record is deleted from our payments processor.
We keep only a minimal, de-identified audit record (a one-way hash, not your email) confirming a deletion occurred.
You can also email info@soulna.app for help.
- Approved admins can disable an account or revoke sessions if needed for safety or support.
Questions or requests
- For privacy questions, data requests, or any issue, email us at info@soulna.app.
